Day 8 - Queen of Spartans

The spartans, one of the most disciplined military forces of the world, was famous for its discipline and self sacrifice. That does mean they were all great in all aspects, they are said to practice slavery on a huge scale and was somewhat a totalitarian rule. But if we look at the brighter side, there lies a society where homosexual relationships were celebrated, and women enjoyed great deals of freedom, which was quite unique in that era.
